As Salaamu’Alaikum

Dear Young Muslims,

How are you? SubhanAllah! Maybe it has been awhile since we have visited one another. InshaaAllah, I hope you are all doing fine.

You know what I’ve noticed??

Many people, young and old, when they hear the Prophet's name they don't say "Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam" - which means "Peace be Upon Him".

They forget that they will get a reward if they said it, and they forgot that if they say it once, Allah will send peace upon them 10 times!! SubhanAllah! Imagine that! If you send your prayers of peace to the Prophet - sallallaahu alayhi wasallam - Allah will send His peace on you 10 times.

Also, a hadith says that the miser or greedy person is he who doesn't send prayers of peace upon the Prophet - sallallahu alayhi wasallam! We don't want to be among the greedy people, right?

Let's learn from this poem:

Peace be Upon Him!

Each time we say “Allaah’s last Prophet”
Or say ”His Messenger”
Then we must say some words of blessing
It is only proper.
'Peace and blessings of Allaah
Upon Muhammad' say
But learn it now in Arabic
There’s more reward this way:
“Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam”
After Muhammad’s name
Muhammad – Allaah’s Messenger
All Muslims say the same.
So learn to say these special words
And say them nice and clear
Say them when you’ve said his name
And when his name, you hear.

I hoped you liked the poem and it will help you remember to say: “peace be upon him.”
