Maple Turkey Breakfast Sausage

Makes 1 lb. of sweet, mild, low-fat sausage

Ingredients


1 lb. ground turkey
2 Tbsp. Real maple syrup OR 3 Tbsp. maple sugar
2 tsp. to 1 Tbsp. ground sage, depending on how much you like sage.
1/2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1-1/2 tsp. salt

Method

Mix all the ingredients together and let sit overnight for flavors to blend.Form into small patties and fry in a lightly greased skillet.

Note: Maple Sugar is a product that is pretty hard to find outside of the New England states, but if you live in the area and have some, that's great.
